Sales Director, SME Commercialization Specialist

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a Corporate Sales strategy that maximizes revenue and profit for Commercial products across UAE in the East Arabia Division. This involves leading accountability for achieving SME Products P&L objectives, as well as supporting or leading specific regional Expert Sales initiatives that drive Mastercard East Arabia business and revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to maximize revenue and profit
  • Leading cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets and objectives
  • Identifying business and product innovation opportunities from SME payment segments
  • Providing subject matter expertise and end-to-end project management/delivery by liaising with cross-functional partners

Requirements:

  1. Deep knowledge and understanding of SME products and services (SME Card), with significant experience in sales and business development within the SME space and relevant tertiary qualifications
  2. Progressive business experience, with a strong track record in the payments industry and deep knowledge of consumer payments
  3. Strong account management experience - ability to understand customer and constituent needs, marketplace dynamics, industry trends, and the competitive landscape
