Job Description

Job Summary:

The Revenue Management Director will lead the development and implementation of revenue growth strategies to maximize hotel profits. This role will oversee the revenue management function, including pricing, revenue forecasting, and yield management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Growth Strategies: Develop and implement revenue growth strategies to increase hotel profits.
  • Pricing and Revenue Forecasting: Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to optimize room rates and revenue forecasts.
  • Yield Management: Maximize room revenue contribution through effective yield management and inventory control.
  • Channel Distribution: Direct and manage all channel distribution strategies to ensure a high distribution health score for the hotel.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with the Marketing team to execute, measure, and evaluate digital marketing efforts to support hotel strategic marketing plans.
  • System Ownership: System owner for RMS, CRS, Rate shopping system, TravelCLICK products, and hotel-specific platforms, ensuring data quality and system hygiene.
  • Content Management: Oversee content management in all electronic channels, ensuring regular updates of hotel images and descriptions.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with local market competitors to stay informed of trends and news.
  • Team Leadership: Motivate, lead, coach, and manage all aspects of team members' performance towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results.

Requirements:

  • Strong Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Dynamic Can-Do Attitude: A dynamic and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Presentation Skills: Presents a professional and polished appearance.
  • Previous Reservation Experience: Previous reservation experience highly preferred.
  • Revenue Management Experience: Experience with Ideas G3 RMS, Opera PMS, Passkey, Delphi, or Opera Sales and Catering preferred.
  • Organizational Skills: Possessing the trait of being organized and multi-tasking.
  • Time Management: Ability to complete work within given deadlines.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
