Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Riverland. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Outlet within the F&B department, including the selection, development and performance management of colleagues, optimizing profits and increasing sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Restaurant manager on a daily basis in running the Food and Beverage operations.
  2. Supervise the processes put in place for efficiency and ensure desired results are achieved.
  3. Motivate colleagues to achieve set targets for guest satisfaction and revenues.
  4. Proactively identify problems that could hinder the operations and take required action plans.
  5. Organize weekly meetings with line managers to monitor targets and operational issues and develop action plans.
  6. Conduct employee appraisals fairly within the set time period.
  7. Prepare and present inputs related to organizational/ departmental/ project budgets to the next reporting line.
  8. Manage and control the actual cost versus budget on a periodic basis and provide financial reports/data related to the department/ divisional/ project's financial performance.
  9. Ensure team members are provided learning and career development opportunities by identifying successors within the team, preparing them for the next accountable roles and recommending them for external training whenever required in consultation with HR Department.
  10. Continuously improve productivity and service delivery of the department by keeping team members motivated and retained.
  11. Follow Company wardrobe and grooming guidelines at all times.
  12. Adhere to Company policies and procedures regarding behaviour, performance and conduct whilst at work and when using Company accommodation and other provided facilities.

Requirements:

  1. High School Certification
  2. Intermediate Food Safety Certification
  3. Valid UAE Driving license

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in relevant field or degree in hospitality or hotel management

Experience:

Essential:

  1. 2 -5 years' experience in a similar role.
  2. Experience with Cashiering Software System.

Desirable:

  1. Experience in a busy entertainment facility with average attendance of more than 2000 guests per day.

Skills:

Essential:

  1. Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  2. Good interpersonal skills.
  3. Team player with the ability to perform in a high-pressure work environment.
  4. Fluent in spoken English.

Desirable:

  1. Good Team Player
  2. Ability to speak additional languages.
