About the role

BLR WORLD is hiring a Visitor Services Training and Excellence Manager.

This role involves composing content, scheduling, and delivering training to the Visitor Services team and to staff interacting with visitors.

The training programme will begin with induction, with ongoing sessions to keep staff engaged, continuously developing, up to date, and positive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the training schedule for the Visitor Services team, working around operational requirements.
  • Develop training subjects, content, and session structures.
  • Monitor staff training records to ensure mandatory training and certification are up to date.
  • Report on training outcomes.
  • Organise necessary resources for training sessions.
  • Manage guest speakers/trainers.
  • Request and coordinate training sessions from other departments.
  • Analyse and report on customer satisfaction using findings to develop strategies for improvement.

Required Experience:

  • Experience of working in a cultural environment in a supervisory or management position.
  • Minimum 3 years experience of composing and delivering training to large groups in a cultural, hospitality, or customer-facing environment.
  • Strong IT skills and ability to pick up new software quickly.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English, written and spoken.

Preferred Experience:

  • Additional languages are an advantage.
  • Experience of working in a museum or tourist attraction.
