Enterprise Sales Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Sales Director to join our team at Canonical. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our sales efforts in the enterprise market, driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the sales team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to achieve sales targets.
- Open Source Technology Expertise: Have a deep understanding of open source technology and solutions, with experience in sales planning and execution.
- Detail-Oriented Planning: Develop and implement effective sales plans, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Track Record of Achievement: Demonstrate a proven track record of achieving sales targets and winning new accounts.
- Communication and Travel: Possess excellent written and spoken English, as well as any language appropriate for the target market, and be willing to travel for customer engagements and company events.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise software or technology sales.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
