Job Summary:

Arenco Real Estate is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Office Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guests receive a warm and welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Greeting and Check-in: Ensure that all guests are warmly greeted and acknowledged upon arrival, maintaining visual contact in accordance with hotel brand service standards and company objectives.
  • Front Desk Procedures: Demonstrate thorough knowledge of front desk procedures and computer systems, handling all guest requests promptly and taking personal responsibility to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Anticipating Guest Needs: Anticipate guest needs by observing and providing prompt and efficient service either in person or through effective communication with other staff members.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels, recognizing the importance of teamwork in hotel operations.
  • Knowledge of Facilities and Services: Be knowledgeable about the facilities and services offered by Arenco Real Estate, including points of interest in Dubai and surrounding areas, to assist with any guest enquiries.
  • Cash Handling and Foreign Currency Exchange: Maintain cash and accurately handle money at all times, being conversant and efficient with foreign currencies and their exchange rates to provide foreign currency exchange services to guests.
  • Check-out Process and Billing: Handle guest check-out process, ensuring manual billing and posting processes are carried out in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Log Keeping and Handover: Maintain a daily log and make a helpful handover for next shifts, ensuring all relevant information is passed clearly.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Maintain work area clean and tidy according to hotel standards.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues at all levels.
  • Knowledge of Front Desk Procedures and Computer Systems: Thorough knowledge of front desk procedures and computer systems.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing situations.
