  • Provide outstanding customer service, including greeting and assisting customers with any inquiries or issues.
  • Maintain a neat and organized checkout area, restocking shelves and ensuring merchandise is properly displayed.
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking inventory as needed.
  • Upsell items and promote sales to customers, handling customer complaints and resolving conflicts in a professional manner.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales targets, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Follow all cash handling and loss prevention procedures, maintaining knowledge of current promotions, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently, basic math skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic cash registers and POS systems.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising principles is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment, must be reliable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent service to customers.
