Key Responsibilities
  • Transfer daily financial data: Ensure seamless transfer of daily city ledger information from the Front Office system to the Back Office Accounts Receivable module.
  • Verification: Confirm the accuracy of the total transfer against city ledger folios.
  • Documentation Review: Scrutinize city ledger folios alongside supporting documents such as charge slips and LPOs.
  • Follow-up Procedures: Engage with relevant departments for any required billing instructions and supporting documentation.
  • Invoice Preparation: Generate invoices and secure necessary approvals from the Director of Finance or Financial Controller.
  • Document Handling: Dispatch original invoices with supporting documents to clients, while maintaining copies in both customer and sequential files.
  • Commission Calculation: Accurately compute commissions for credit card payments received.
  • Receipt Issuance: Provide receipts for cash, cheques, and direct credit card payments to the bank.
  • Cash Management: Deliver overall cash receipts to the General Cashier along with receipt copies.
  • Employee Summary Preparation: Compile and present the employee city ledger summary to the Paymaster on a monthly basis.
Qualifications & Skills

Education: A degree in hotel management or accounting is required.

Experience: A minimum of one year of relevant experience in a hotel environment is essential.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are mandatory.

Technical Proficiency: Strong computer literacy is a must, with familiarity in systems such as Opera, Micros, FBM, and SUN System considered advantageous.
