Operations Manager - Courier background - Dubai

The Operations Manager’s role is to supervise and ensure the operational efficiency in courier service including drivers efficiency, productivity, and optimization of staff in various locations. This includes managing both the resources and processes to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective solutions for all aspects of operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Delivery success and financial responsibility for revenue growth, cost control, debt collection and overall responsibility for budgetary deliverables in courier operations; handle issues and elevations from customers.
- Ensuring service levels compliance for performance in terms of delivery KPI's and collection are met through monitoring of service levels returns as well as spot check branch level adherence and execution.
- Ensuring proper resource utilization and rationalization including human resource drivers, supervisors, and fleet allocation

**Requirements**:
Position Requirements
- A university degree from a recognized university in a business related discipline
- At least 10 years’ relevant experience senior operational management role. Those with previous experience in Courier Operations will have a distinct advantage
- Work with Management and Sales Staff to improve drivers performance and continuously identify new opportunities as well as join in clients onboarding
- Ability to lead a team and take ownership

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
