Job Description
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Anantara employees always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their colleagues. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:
- To anticipate guest needs and handle inquiries in a courteous and attentive manner.
- To possess comprehensive knowledge of the hotel offerings, including room categories, pricing, amenities, dining options, wellness facilities, and other Anantara properties.
- To oversee the quality of service and the demeanor with which guest services are delivered, ensuring it aligns with Anantara's high standards at all times.
- To take personal responsibility for addressing all matters related to guest satisfaction and ensure timely follow-up.
- To be proactive and innovative, suggesting alternatives that enhance the guest experience at Anantara.
- To cultivate a close and harmonious working relationship with all hotel departments.
- To conduct daily briefings and communicate essential information to team members.
- To perform night audit functions, including analysis and preparation of daily revenue reports.
Qualifications
- A college degree in hotel management or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Front Office role in a similar environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with proficiency in additional languages such as German, Italian, Chinese, or Arabic being advantageous.
- Willingness to work night shifts.
