Position Overview:

As an Automotive Service Consultant at AL TAYER GROUP LLC, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and service management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Interaction: Welcome customers warmly, discuss their vehicle servicing and repair needs, and provide guidance based on manufacturer recommendations. Accurately document all requirements to ensure clarity and quality in service delivery.
  • Job Explanation: Clearly articulate the details of the service job, including its value and associated costs. After receiving customer approval, prepare precise work instructions for technicians and maintain communication to monitor job progress.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections upon job completion to verify that work meets established standards and customer expectations.
  • Vehicle Delivery: Deliver the vehicle to the customer in a courteous manner, ensuring complete satisfaction with the service provided.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with existing and potential customers by proactively following up on their vehicle performance and service needs.
  • Communication: Keep customers informed about the status of back-ordered parts and their expected arrival times, reinforcing the company's commitment to resolving their issues.
  • Progress Updates: Regularly update customers on the status of their vehicle repairs and ensure payment collection upon delivery.
  • Sales Opportunities: Promote new accessories, service packages, and additional services while actively participating in service campaigns.
  • Continuous Learning: Enhance product knowledge through online and classroom training sessions.
  • Team Collaboration: Build positive relationships with both customers and workshop staff to ensure a cohesive working environment.
  • Follow-Up: Engage with customers regarding Work In Progress (WIP) and follow up on long-pending vehicle deliveries.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Service Consultant in an automotive dealership setting.
  • A diploma in Automobile Engineering or a relevant graduate degree.
