The Operations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing various tasks related to the sea, air, and land departments within the organization. This role involves managing the loading and off-loading processes, handling customs inspections, claims processing, cargo planning, and coordinating with drivers for efficient transportation.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Shipment Handling:

- Supervise loading and off-loading processes for sea, air freight, and land freight shipments.
- Facilitate the customs inspections to verify package contents, item numbers, and loading arrangements (trailers & etc).
- Manage claims processes, including duties claims and refunds in Dubai.
- Coordinate loading activities at Jabel Ali Port.
- Plan cargo loading for trailers and supervise loading operations.
- Coordinate small cargo pickups and deliveries.
- Manage cargo tracing for missing items and coordinate with customs for cargo retrieval.

2. Documentation and Coordination:

- Collect required documents.
- Coordinate air shipments and ensure timely documentation collection.
- Collect required documents from drivers and forward them to the coordinator.
- Manage storage documents and arrange pickups, cargo checks, and customs procedures.
- Assist the accounts department with cash and cheque collection, depositing, and purchasing office items.

3.Cargo Information and Documentation:

- Ensure that the driver is getting accurate and complete documentation of cargo details from the loading site.
- Provide drivers and relevant stakeholders with necessary documentation, such as shipping documents & driver’s agreement.
- Supervise driver duties and provide information on traffic conditions and route surveys.

4.Financial Management and Reporting:

- Prepare payment vouchers & obtain approval for handing over it to the coordinators to collect advance cash payment from finance before the journey.
- Handover advance cash payment to the drivers and obtain their signatures as proof for the receipt of cash.
- Preparation of the Driver’s agreement.
- Deliver invoices along with shipping documents to clients & obtain acknowledgement.

5.Communication and Collaboration:

- Maintain effective communication with Operations, sales, coordinators & finance to ensure seamless transportation operations.
- Serve as a primary point of contact with the drivers for inquiries, updates, and resolution of transportation-related issues.

6.Compliance and Safety:

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, transportation laws, and company policies to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of vehicles, equipment, and facilities to identify and address any safety hazards or non-compliance issues.
- Update the health and safety form as per new laws & regulations.

**Requirements**:
At least 3 years experiences in Cargo/ Loading/ Customs fields.

Must knowledge of Dubai Customs Clearance Procedures and Process.

Valid Driving License is required.

Pay: From AED3,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
