Searching for an opportunity that just adds up? We’re looking for a new Accounts Receivable with a strong enough grasp of the figures to balance managing hotel assets, maintaining a centralised accounting environment, and making accurate forecasts. In complete confidence.

A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

- Prepares all outgoing Statement of Accounts (SA’s).
- Coordinates with Income Audit, General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Cost Control and Credit & Collection on other details/adjustments regarding A.R. Aging reports.
- Follow up with Front Office and other departments on any pending folios, missing checks and supporting documents.
- Respond to guests’ queries and account disputes and supply data and information to the credit office to answer queries from travel agents, corporate, and individual clients.
- Posting of all Journal Vouchers in the Subsidiary Ledger.
- Checking the weekly financial report submitted by HMC Club Hotel and preparing a summary of the consolidated statement of income and expenses.
- Analyze all credit and unknown balances in the ageing report each month in coordination with Credit & Collection.
- Reconciles Aging Report and the General ledger including investigation of irregular entries and preparing to adjust entries when necessary.
- Checks the statement of accounts of Directors and Stockholders, Companies, Individual/SPR/Non-SPR with Posting Master (PM) folios.
- Check the staff monthly statement of account and prepare a monthly summary of salary deductions.
- Check the monthly Accounts Receivable Recapitulation Report.
- Reconciliation of subsidiary ledger of the following accounts with General Ledger balances:

- A.R. - Stores and Concessionaires
- Preparation and posting of monthly Journal Vouchers affecting Stores and concessionaires in the Fidelio Back office.
- Responsible for the preparation of the Journal Voucher and Reconciliation Report and submits to the Credit Manager within the deadline set.
- Check the daily balancing of the Daily Aging Report and Daily Trial Balance Report and forward them to Financial Controller for signature.
- Prepares the A/R collection days report and gives a copy to General Manager, Financial Controller, Asst. Financial Controller, and Credit Manager.
- Performs duties common to all supervisors and other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
- Co-operate with the company to achieve compliance with FLS legislation.
- Take moral and legal responsibility for conducting themselves in their work so they do not expose themselves or others to risk.
- Not undertake any activity which compromises their personal FLS, or the FLS of others.
- Report all accidents, dangerous occurrences, or hazards, no matter how minor, to the supervisor or Heads of Department.

What We need from you:

- Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Accounting or Finance
- Or two years in hotel accounting or internal audit with one year in a supervisory role
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must speak fluent English
