Vice President, Platform Sales, EEMEA

The Services organization is a key driver of growth for Mastercard providing cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Bringing together our unique and proprietary data, technology, insights and expertise into a single organization, Services relentlessly focuses on meeting the needs of our customers, acting as a critical part of our business growth. Representing over a third of Mastercard revenues, Services is a key differentiator for Mastercard.

The Platform Sales teams are responsible for sales activities across Mastercard specialist sales platforms and products to drive business across specializations and offerings. We are seeking a Vice President of Platform Sales in EEMEA to act as a central hub for platform sales activities within the region. The role will act as the central coordination point for activities across platforms and acquisition sales teams and be responsible for identifying opportunities to upsell and cross sell. The role will report directly to the Regional Business Development Lead, with close coordination with the Global Specialized Platform Sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Enable and coordinate Platform Sales across data, personalization, loyalty, cyber security and dispute management domains across EEMEA (including and not limited to Ethoca, Ekata, RiskRecon, Brighterion, Test & Learn, Dynamic Yield, Loyalty platforms, Insights / Analytics)
- Manage a team with P&L responsibility for +$50M with focus on achieving double digit, high growth in future
- Acts as main point of contact and key conduit amongst specialist platform sales and acquisition sales teams with connection to market sales teams
- Serves as connection point across global sales teams to incorporate holistic view of offerings available to customers and coordinate sales efforts
- Partners with sales teams to embed various specialized platforms into account strategies
- Partners with Channel Partnerships & Sales teams to ensure sales narratives, targets, KPIs are aligned
- Coordinates across platforms to identify up sell and cross sell opportunities where possible
- Drives coordination of business and customer activities across specialist sales teams, ensuring efficiency and maximizing business outcomes
- Builds relationships with key customers while remaining in close alignment with the sales operating model
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the competitive landscape to inform sales strategy and provide input for product roadmap
- Partners with Delivery, Product and Customer Success teams to ensure driving a regional strategy and process where there is proper hand off post sales, and proper usage / adoption of platforms by clients
- Manage a geographically diverse team and recruit, retain and develop high-performing team

All About You
- 15+ years’ experience in multi-million solution sales and delivery across geographies
- Able to establish and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across sales, presales, delivery, success management, finance and legal
- Experience in setting, managing and monitoring sales quotas and commission models
- Ability to connect the dots across sales teams and platforms, to optimize sales efforts within a region and ability to work across teams to coordinate sales efforts
- Capability to navigate across the internal Mastercard organization to accelerate collaboration and influence across matrixed reporting structures
- Strong sales acumen and negotiation skills to identify cross sell opportunities, overcome objections, and close revenue-generating initiatives
- Ability to influence and motivate others to achieve objectives of the business across the region.
- Growth mindset, comfortable navigating in rapidly changing environments. Experience working in an international and matrix environment is highly desirable
- Strong people leader with the ability to build highly motivated and successful teams
- Strong written, presentation and verbal communications skills. Acts with a sense of urgency and strong track record on delivering results
