What you will be doing
As a Marketing and Communications Executive you will be part of CSM’s Middle East team, contributing to the development and executional delivery of a variety of brand activations, communication and event marketing activities, including press launches, talent and ambassador management, media relations, social media management, content creation and third party agency or supplier management.
You will report into a MarCom's Manager and be responsible for multiple workstreams across your account, building solid relationships with clients and colleagues and supporting your senior team.
You will be part of our CSM’s Brand division based in our UAE offices, providing Marketing & Communications services for Abu Dhabi Sports Council’s behavioural change campaign.
**Key responsibilities will include**:
**Marketing**:
- Maintain the brand hub, being the guardian of all assets and brand content
- Support marketing operations and admin for the marketing project team
- Co-ordinate influencer and ambassador programme
- Co-ordinate design and development of the the campaign
- Support content and campaign delivery with the marketing team and working with selected creative agencies
**PR**:
- Drafting of PR materials to include messaging houses, Q&As, fact sheets and briefing documents
- Overseeing the creation of editorial collateral and assets including features, news articles and op-eds, with support from a third party PR agency
- Supporting with photocalls, press conferences, events and media experiences
- Building strong relationships with media contacts and managing media partnerships
Social
- Researching and identifying speaker opportunities for positioning and profiling of senior stakeholders
- Supporting with the delivery of a major media launch event, with agency support, ensuring strong media attendance
- Managing the Sport Councils social media channels, working closely with our paid media team, Creative and PR agencies to schedule content and manage the publishing strategy
- On the ground content capture for social channels, with support from professional photographers and videographers
- Social media community management in both English and Arabic
Admin
- Support MarCom's team with measurement, evaluation and reporting
- Attending weekly client, all agency and internal account meetings
**The Skills and Experience you will need**:
- A clear passion for sports, health and wellness and communications
- 2+ years’ experience in PR / Marketing
- Team work and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability and confidence to guide and counsel clients
- Client-facing experience within UAE public and private sector
- Proven ability to prioritise and delegate
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Outstanding written and oral communications skills
- Fluent in English and preferably in Arabic
- Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Ability to build and manage budgets
- Proven track record of working with photographers and production companies and an understanding of the creative process for visual content creation
- Strong contacts across sport & lifestyle media, with a sound understanding of the regional landscape
- Solution-focused and hands on approach to communications, using a range of marketing skills including media relations, press release and video content creation, talent handling and event organisation and management
