Job Purpose: JOB PURPOSE - To provide the highest standard of medical telehealth service, triage support and case management to Emirates eligible staff and customers. To provide support to eligible staff members who become ill while abroad, including coordinating medical appointments, managing payments, and ensuring their overall well-being throughout the recovery process. Assist the Ground Medical Services doctor in handling medical emergencies during flights and performing predeparture medical screenings. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES - Provide appropriate pre-departure telephone-based triage support for passengers and operating crew. This includes gathering flight details, passenger details and medical concerns as reported by cabin crew or ground staff. Information gathered are recorded and handed over to the GMS doctor on duty. - Provide appropriate inflight telephone-based triage support for passengers and operating crew. This includes gathering flight details, passenger details and medical concerns as reported by cabin crew. Information gathered are recorded and handed over to the GMS doctor on duty - Coordinate with airport station team to arrange local emergency medical assistance for sick/injured passengers and operating crew. This includes follow up on requested medical support on arrival, raised by the GMS doctor on duty. i.e ambulance, wheelchair, AMC review. - Provide appropriate staff-sick outstation case management for Flight Deck, Cabin Crew and eligible staff. This will include case opening, coordination with stakeholders, arranging local medical support through TPA?s, case monitoring, escalation of high-risk concerns, and case review with the GMS doctor on duty for fitness to fly before returning to base. - Work with a dynamic and fast paced environment, to provide the highest standard case management and ensure the best outcome for our client. - Provide high standard customer service while engaging with people in a crisis situation.
Qualifications & Experience: Qualifications: - Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) - Degree in Nursing or equivalent medical qualification Experience : - Medical/Safety.Medical Administration : 5+ Years - Experience in Medical/Pre-hospital emergency/Nursing/Medical insurance Knowledge/skills:Associate degree in nursing or Allied healthRegistered Medical professional.Experience in Primary Care/Aviation Medicine /prehospital emergencyAbility to learn and develop competency in a telehealth medical settingFluent in English written and verbal communicationAbility to work independently with mínimal supervision.Ability to learn and develop competency in a telehealth medical settingCase Management experience in medical assistance beneficial
