**Purpose**:

- As the Head of Growth, you will be responsible for leading the acquisition and retention strategies for GMG Sport. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding customer base, and maximizing customer lifetime value. You will lead a team of marketing professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute data-driven growth initiatives. Your focus will be on driving customer acquisition, optimizing conversion rates, and implementing effective retention strategies.

**Strategy and Planning**:

- Develop and implement the overall growth strategy, encompassing customer acquisition, conversion optimization, and customer retention.
- Define and execute growth initiatives, campaigns, and experiments to drive revenue and increase market share.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to align growth objectives with the overall business strategy.

**Customer Acquisition**:

- Lead customer acquisition efforts, utilizing various channels such as digital advertising, SEO/SEM, social media, influencer marketing, and partnerships
- Drive quality traffic to our websites and apps
- Analyze and optimize acquisition funnels to increase conversion rates, reduce acquisition costs, and maximize return on investment (ROI).
- Monitor industry trends and identify new growth opportunities to expand the customer base.

**Customer Retention and Loyalty**
- Build and drive upsell and cross sell strategies
- Analyze customer data and behavior to identify opportunities for increasing customer lifetime value and driving repeat purchases.
- Work closely with customer service and operations teams to enhance the post-purchase experience and ensure customer satisfaction.

**Execution**:

- Execute marketing campaign on time for brick and mortar and ecommerce teams

**Data Analysis and Reporting**:

- Utilize analytics tools and platforms to gather insights, measure campaign performance, and track key metrics such as customer acquisition cost (CAC), customer lifetime value (CLTV), retention rate, and churn rate.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide visibility into growth performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.

**Person Specific Requirements**:
**Base Requirement**:4+ years** in a similar performance and growth role

**Minimum Experience and Knowledge**:

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in managing multiple ecommerce brands and driving their P&L performance.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, eCRM, CDP, ecommerce technologies, and industry best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute ecommerce strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Strong business acumen, financial literacy, and budget management skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
- Prior experience in the retail industry or a similar consumer-focused industry is highly desirable.

**Job-Specific Skills**:

- Experience in driving growth for ecommerce businesses with large catalogs and multiple brands
- Arabic would be a plus
- Strong understanding of ecommerce web and app platforms
- Can do attitude and change mindset
- Ability to motivate a team and increase quality and speed of execution
- Customer obsessed with a drive towards excellence
- Proven experience in leading acquisition and retention strategies for ecommerce businesses, preferably within the retail industry.
- Demonstrated success in driving customer acquisition, optimizing conversion rates, and implementing effective retention strategies.
- Proficiency in data analysis and experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative growth initiatives.
