Facilities Manager

To overseeing and agreeing contracts and providers for services including, parking, cleaning, catering, technology.
- Responsible for total facility management services including cleaning MEP and building services, concierge, and administration.
- Responsible for supervising multi-disciplinary teams of staff including cleaning, maintenance.
- To ensure that basic facilities, such as water and heating, are well
- maintained.
- Responsible for allocating and managing space between buildings
- To ensure that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards.
- Responsible for advising businesses on increasing energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- To overseeing building projects, renovations or refurbishments.
- To ensure drafting reports and making written recommendations.
- To manager all technical and non-technical outsources service contracts and company personnel including inspection and quality. Management of service delivery of all sections.
- To inspect all contracted services to ensure performance measures are being maintained.
- To report any incidents within the time frame as set in the matrix.
- Support in identifying and sourcing spares and consumables for all equipment’s and maintain optimum inventory.
- Responsible for preparing breakdown analyses reports and review with subordinates.
- To establish contract specific continues improvement strategies which promote efficiency, energy reduction, and best practices.
- To ensure to champion the implementation and support the use of CAFM in every property and use it to report proactive and reactive performance.
- To manage excellent relationships with clients, suppliers and other partners.
- To act as a role model for people management process ensuring they are followed to clarify objectives, actively manage performance and develop skills.
- To set objectives for direct reports and review monthly basis, and to ensure same goes for within the area with the responsibility.
- To support the development of business wide FM initiative including cost reduction, strategies, contract management plan and customer improvement plan.
- Responsible for leadership of allocated Facility Management Zone and the associated services, ensuring excellent. Consistent and complaint (timely) service is achieved.
- To establish and maintain the PPM schedule, contract management plan, training plan, succession plan and all associated health and safety.
- To operate independently within working parameters set by head of the facility management.
- To establish and maintain contract specific relationships and ensure customer expectations are managed.
- To initiate and maintain health and safety policy and standards.
- To determines specific priorities and make decisions.
- To ensure H & S hazards and environmental aspects are identified and managed.
- To ensure trainings are identified, relevant training is organized and monitor the training effectiveness.
- To participate in accidents/incidents and investigations and take corrective actions.
- Managed all building facilities operation & maintenance activities.
- Coordinates with suppliers, contractors, engineers, and others concerning equipment operations or maintenance.
- Organizes, plans, coordinates and monitors building MEP maintenance & installation works for buildings; coordinates for the inspection & other related equipment & peripherals as per work schedules
- Prepares & submits routine and special reports such as maintenance schedules, operational & incident reports, accident reports, technical reports, volume of activity etc
- Supervises and motivates staff to ensure an acceptable level of performance.
- Carry out daily - Monthly - Monthly inspection around the building areas and services
- To provide feed back to management on HSEQ performance.
- To take appropriate actions, work/ activities carried out in case of HSEQ violations and unsafe acts.
- To ensure appropriate HSEQ records are maintained at sites/ departments.
- To monitor emergency preparedness/ evacuation
