**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Food Preparation & Production**:
- Plan, prepare, and cook large quantities of food for distribution to various locations or events.
- Develop and implement recipes and menu items that are consistent with company standards and customer preferences.
- Ensure all food is prepared and stored according to health and safety regulations.
- **Team Management**:
- Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure a high level of performance and professionalism.
- Schedule shifts and manage labor costs effectively.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- **Quality Control**:
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure it meets company standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
- Address and resolve any food quality or safety issues promptly.
- **Inventory & Supply Management**:
- Oversee inventory levels and manage ordering of food and kitchen supplies.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality ingredients.
- Implement cost-control measures to minimize waste and optimize budget.
- **Administrative Duties**:
- Maintain accurate records of food production, inventory, and staff hours.
- Prepare reports on kitchen operations, including production metrics and budget adherence.
- Ensure all kitchen operations comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- **Collaboration & Communication**:
- Work closely with other departments, such as front-of-house staff and event coordinators, to ensure seamless service.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to coordinate tasks and address any issues.
