**THE ROLE**

**THE SPECIFICS**
- Helping to shape and drive the commercial sales strategy for Whalar MENA
- Providing leadership for the sales team, helping shape account planning, forecasting and delivery
- Identifying and seeking out a strong advertiser client base for the business
- Building long-term, profitable and trusted relationships with clients in the MENA
- Create and execute against a contact strategy, giving focus and direction to the team
- Comfortable with running a sales pipeline, understand the processes and requirements of a strong pipeline
- Comfortable planning, setting and achieving targets for the team
- Represent the commercial sales with key clients and agencies and industry events
- Collaboration across multiple teams on outreach materials and lead gen initiatives
- Advocate for Whalar across the advertising industry; including public speaking and event appearances
- Partnering with Insight/Strategy team for the development of long-term business plans and differentiated strategies for clients
- Guiding and mentoring the client service team, ensuring strong transfer of communications
- Staying ahead of the latest trends and innovations; keeping clients abreast of Whalar's thought-leadership
- Ensuring all Business Affairs, Legal and Finance topics are in line for every campaign and partnership

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**
- Strong experience in advertising sales and partnerships at a senior level
- Strong network of contacts across the industry
- Experience in delivering social success strategies for clients, a consultative seller
- Understands industry trends in marketing in to which Influencer and social marketing fits
- An appreciation of creativity, content and culture
- High Growth mind-set - we are a business growing at pace
- Experience of managing a team
