**Job Description**:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated **Executive Sous Chef** to join the culinary team. The **Executive Sous Chef** will play a key role in assisting the Executive Chef in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring food quality and consistency, and managing kitchen staff to deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Executive Chef in planning, organizing, and overseeing all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and service.
- Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring they are motivated, skilled, and following proper cooking techniques and safety standards.
- Oversee kitchen inventory and ensure that stock is properly ordered, stored, and rotated to minimize waste.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste, ensuring consistency across all dishes.
- Ensure the kitchen complies with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, and that food is prepared and served in accordance with industry standards.
- Manage kitchen operations during service, ensuring all orders are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
- Assist with the development and updating of menus, ensuring they reflect current trends and meet guest preferences.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front-of-house staff and event coordinators, to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
- Handle staff scheduling and ensure the kitchen is properly staffed during peak times.
- Assist in controlling food costs by ensuring proper portioning, reducing waste, and monitoring inventory levels.
- Help with the hiring and training of new kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to hotel standards and procedures.

Desired Skill & Expertise:

- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a high-volume, upscale kitchen environment.
- A culinary degree or relevant professional qualifications are preferred.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent culinary skills with a passion for food and a deep understanding of cooking techniques.
- Solid knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
- A creative and innovative approach to menu development.
