MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.1.1 Prepare for daily arrivals in terms of room allocation, amenities and special requests of Guests.
1.1.2 Register and process check in for all arrivals.
1.1.3 Update and check guest information into the computer after a complete check in.
1.1.4 Accountable for cashiering duties, foreign exchange transactions, night audits tasks and settlement upon Guests’ departure.
1.1.5 Handles walk in counter reservation at all times and process call in reservation when room reservations section is closed.
1.1.6 Provide friendly smooth courteous service to guest and respond promptly to all requests and inquiries at all time.
1.1.7 Resolve guests complaints/ requests and liaise with the department concerned to ensure immediately follow up.
1.1.8 Handle issuance of guest room key cards and ensure effective control for guest security.
1.1.9 Check and convey message to Guests.
1.1.10 Assist at the Information counter, Foreign Exchange, Night Audit and the Business centre, as and when assigned.
1.1.11 To check the paymaster and feed back FOM.
1.1.12 Review log book, verify outstanding and follow up pending. Identify if any special assignment for the day.
1.1.13 Check Hotel situation, occupancy, functions, groups, MIPs/VIPs.
1.1.14 File daily reception report and documents systematically
1.1.15 At the end of the shift or the day, he has to communicate all information that the next shift has to know for a well running of the operations.
1.1.16 Review and update Logbook
1.1.17 Check equipments
1.1.18 Be Smart, well groomed and maintain a friendly and cheerful disposition all the times
1.1.19 Oversee the day to day operations
1.1.20 Report regularly on happening to Asst. FO/FOM
1.1.21 Monitor Employees performance/ Coaching
1.1.22 Fire Procedure
1.1.23 First Aid Procedures
1.1.24 Handle guest complaints and report to manager
1.1.25 Implement and coordinate the Front Office OSM
1.1.26 Perform as per Standards and in line with the Rixos the palm procedures.
1.1.27 Proper grooming at all times
1.1.28 Attend training classes as per schedule
1.1.29 Show fullest cooperation and respect within the team and other departments
1.1.30 Is aware of the daily activities and has product knowledge of all the hotel facilities
**Qualifications**
University** **Degree in Hotel Management, Minimum 3 years in a similar role.
