New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) seeks to appoint a Manager, Strategy & Partner Relations reporting to the Director, Strategy and Partner Relations to support engagement between NYUAD and our government partner(s).

Please note: this position may be hired at the Manager or Assistant Director level depending on the qualifications and experience of the selected individual.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Reporting and Document Development_
- Support the development of reports, memoranda, presentations, and other written products heavy with that effectively explain and advocate for NYUAD’s strategies, programs, and interests to government partner(s) and their Board
- Strategy Development
- Manages and facilitates internal strategy development efforts (managing stakeholders and aligning internal strategy); and support the development of reports, memoranda, presentations, and other written products with rigorous and clearly presented analytical content that effectively explain and advocate for NYUAD’s strategies, programs, and interests to Senior Leadership, our government partners and its board
- Analysis and Data Management_
- In concert with Institutional Research, help develop NYUAD’s data infrastructure and governance in order to support strategic decision-making and reporting. Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis and ensure integrity of data and consistency in reporting methodology in documents developed for internal leadership and government partner
- Internal Advising_
- Provide guidance, and assistance to University offices in anticipating and effectively responding to our government partner(s) questions and concerns; coordinating information flow; and developing and implementing strategies to achieve favorable outcomes
- Relationship Building_
- Cultivate relationships with our government partner(s)’ officers and staff, Board members, and other key stakeholders to advance NYUAD and mutual interests. Ensure compliance with all requirements of the management agreement and framework agreement with the Government of Abu Dhabi
- Other duties as assigned_

Qualifications:
**Required Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree
**Preferred Education**:

- Master’s degree in a related area (e.g., public policy or public administration, communications, public relations, management, higher education administration)
**Required Experience**:

- 5+ years of professional experience, with at least 2 years are in government relations, university or corporate board relations, or a similar role
- Professional experience in a university environment
- Professional experience in strategy research and analysis
**Preferred Experience**:

- Developing and executing strategic and/or operational plans
- Developing and executing communications plans.
- Working with project team
