**Key Responsibilities**:
**Business Development**:

- Identify and build relationships with key players in the fintech industry, including startups, financial institutions, investors, and government organizations.
- Build strong relationships with heads of HR, L&D, etc. at banks, FinTechs, and other firms that have large employee bases who are seeking to get skilled in the field of FinTech
- “Hunting” business development capabilities. Ability to build accounts from scratch.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute a business development strategy to expand the FintechLab's network and create opportunities for partnerships.
- Pitch the value proposition of our Fintech Lab to potential partners, clients, and sponsors, and negotiate partnership agreements.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and meetups to represent the Fintech Lab and identify potential collaborators.
- Monitor fintech industry trends and regulatory changes to identify new business opportunities.

**Training and Mentoring**:

- Develop and co-deliver training programs and workshops for fintech startups and entrepreneurs in areas such as technology, regulatory compliance, business development, and marketing.
- Collaborate with external experts and mentors to supplement the training and development programs.

**Lab Management**:

- Manage day-to-day operations of the Fintech Lab, ensuring it remains an effective and inspiring environment for innovation.
- Oversee the budget and resource allocation for the lab.
- Maintain relationships with lab members, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.

**Qualifications**:

- Master's degree in business, finance, technology, or a related field.
- 7-12 years of work experience in business development within the education/academy industry, with a strong track record of selling educational programs and certifications
- Training or mentoring experience, particularly in the context of startups or entrepreneurs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong knowledge of fintech industry trends, technology, and regulatory landscape.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
