**Position Summary**:
The Vendor Relations Officer is responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely procurement of goods and services, on-boarding new vendors, encourage them to run discounts and offers and also sign up as resellers and generate sales. This role involves negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies, and coordinating with various departments to meet procurement goals and sales targets.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Vendor Management:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.
- Identify and qualify potential new vendors in multiple countries around the world.
- Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of vendor performance.
- Generate sales from vendors as resellers.
- Suggest new categories, brands and products to be added to Okazzi library.

Contract Negotiation:

- Negotiate, prices, lead-times, terms and conditions with vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- Draft, review, and manage vendor contracts and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Procurement Coordination:

- Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs.
- Manage purchase orders and ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain healthy and accurate stock levels with vendors and ensure enough coverage in terms of products listing categories.

Performance Monitoring:

- Monitor vendor performance against agreed-upon service levels and KPIs.
- Address and resolve any issues or disputes with vendors.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews and feedback sessions with vendors.

Reporting and Documentation:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vendor agreements, transactions, and communications.
- Prepare regular reports on vendor performance, procurement activities, and cost savings.
- Ensure proper documentation of all procurement processes.
- Compliance and Risk Management:

- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships.
- Conduct due diligence and ensure vendors comply with ethical standards and practices.

**Continuous Improvement**:

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in vendor management and procurement.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and training programs.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or a similar role.
- Proven track record in negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.

**Skills**:

- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical skills with the ability to assess and interpret data.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Presentation and public speaking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and ethical standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.
- Fluent English is a must. Arabic language is a plus.
