**The Role**:
This role will be responsible for all aspects of Sales and sales development within the business including but not limited to develop clients in GCC market so that the long-term plans of the business are achieved. The role will be primarily focused on the development and growth of the companies House Brand - a Brand that offers essential and innovative products at a fair price for the grocery and mass market retail segment.

We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to join our team and to play an integral role in the exponential growth of the company by establishing new relationships as well as organically grow existing partnerships.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Prepare the annual budget with action plan to achieve the sales target and GP$ budget for the responsible market.
- Identify and aggressively contact and develop connections with major distributors who can carry the Brand.
- Qualify leads and develop an outbound outreach strategy which will build the new customer pipeline with clients who value our services, brands, and offerings. Ensure new clients match the overall strategy and direction of the company.
- Establish a distribution network regionally.
- Develop relationships with clients and make the house brand the supplier\'s choice for those clients. Understand clients needs and profile and how to serve them effectively.
- Proactively send quotations and offers to clients on a frequent basis. Analyze current market trends and activity to identify business opportunities by generating active enquires and interest through active product / design offers to customer.
- Work with the marketing team to assist in inbound marketing.
- Work remotely from home office and reporting to our Head of Business Development who is currently based in Hong Kong.

**The Person**:

- Degree holder in Business Management, Marketing and Branding related discipline.
- 8+ years working experience in international sales. Experience with management and growth of portfolio of distributor clients in multiple markets esp. in UAE.
- Been part of the growth and expansion of a Brand in the GCC region with significant sales and profit growth.
- Experience with product development **is an advantage.**:

- Experience in Kitchenware/Housewares products is **a huge advantage**:

- You understand Distribution Business: You understand how distributors in global markets work. You understand the cost structure from landed cost to retail and know how to price effectively. You can develop category management solutions for them, offering them an assortment of products from our House Brand that are relevant to their market and needs.
