Channel Team Lead - UAE Nationals Only, Hub Delivery

To help us maintain our high standards of service, we are seeking an experienced and accomplished Hub Channel Team Lead, to drive both innovation and execution in our busy Transportation network.

Your responsibilities:

  1. Support the overall, daily management of operational duties, deputizing for the Hub Account Managers as required.
  2. Prioritize and continually improve safety at the delivery station.
  3. Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators, and delivery associates to ensure every shipment meets and exceeds operational KPIs.
  4. Monitor coordinator and associate performance, coaching them as needed, and partner with supporting departments to improve logistics processes and operations.
  5. Communicate with delivery service providers to set expectations and improve quality of deliverables.
  6. Interview candidates for associate roles.
  7. Brief and monitor the workload of all associates, ensuring all administrative tasks are accurately completed.
  8. Measure and monitor overall workflows and daily metrics to assist the Operations Manager with tracking, trending, and reporting on site performance.
  9. Train and mentor new Associates, providing them with the necessary knowledge to carry out their tasks.
  10. Follow-up on and resolve any process-related issues as required.
  11. Be flexible to work different shifts and do overtime when needed.
  12. Resource your function from a personal standpoint, including training needs, absence and performance management, and coaching.

Key job responsibilities:

  1. Supervise the dispatch of shipments in the stations for Hub.
  2. Timely monitoring of the cost of Supply runs.
  3. Manage Metrics.
  4. Identify opportunities and areas of improvement with stores on the delivery process.
  5. Leverage maps to analyze the distribution of active stores and ADE Scouting.
  6. Dive deep on Store performance metrics.
  7. Participate in continuous improvement projects.
  8. Actively participate in meetings with station stakeholders to present program quality metrics.
  9. Work with Field Team members within your territory to improve operational aspects that impact customer experience.
  10. Supervise the execution of Debrief, monitoring on-road shipments.
  11. Manage capacity and performance analysis for volume balancing.
  12. Provide support to partners in the delivery processes.

The Hub program is part of Amazon's fast-growing and always evolving rural and urban delivery program. We partner with customer-obsessed small business owners who deliver to Amazon customers. Our partners raise the bar for the delivery experience in complex last mile scenarios Today, we are building the Hub network in UAE, Egypt, Japan, Mexico, Spain, and the US, while planning for global reach

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. UAE national with family book.
  2. Experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement.
  3. Experience managing teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Experience in logistics.
  2. Experience with data analysis.
