Roles and responsibilities

The Learning and Development Manageris responsible for shaping and executing the Learning andDevelopment strategy in alignment with the organization'sgoals. This role plays a key part in cultivating a culture ofcontinuous growth and innovation within Majid Al FuttaimEntertainment.

ROLEPROFILE

  • Support the expansion and growth ofMajid Al Futtaim Entertainment across the region through tailoredLearning and Development initiatives.
  • Design,develop, and deliver new training programs and initiatives for thebusiness, while managing the activities of junior Learning andDevelopment team members.
  • Conduct TrainingNeeds Analysis (TNA) by collaborating with leadership to identifyskills gaps and provide effective solutions to enhance employeecompetencies.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluatetraining programs that improve employee performance across alllevels of the organization, contributing to overall businesssuccess.
  • Oversee the management of trainingsystems, content, and materials, ensuring they are up-to-date andaligned with business objectives.
  • Facilitateongoing training programs and develop content for departmentalheads and management to build leadership and functionalexpertise.
  • Ensure consistency in the quality oftraining programs, materials, and initiatives across thebusiness.
  • Track, report, and analyze theprogress of training initiatives, managing vendor relationships toensure timely delivery within budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree intraining & development, Education, Human Resources,Psychology, Business, or a related field.
  • 6-7years of experience in HR, with a focus on Learning &Development.
  • At least 5 years of experience inmanaging and leading a skilled team.
  • Highproficiency in Microsoft Office applications and instructionaldesign tools like Articulate 360 andCanva.
  • Instructional Design: Strong knowledgeof instructional design principles, tools, and methodologies tocreate effective learning materials andprograms.
  • Fluent in Arabic: Proficiency inArabic is required for communication across theregion.

  • PresentationSkills: Delivering clear, impactful trainingcontent.

4. TechnologyProficiency

  • LearningManagement Systems (LMS): Using platforms likeMoodle, Cornerstone, orWorkday.
  • E-LearningTools: Familiarity with tools such as Articulate,Adobe Captivate, or Canva for creating digitalcontent.
  • AnalyticsTools: Measuring training effectiveness usingdata-driven insights.
