Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas

  • AP & AR Ledger reviews
  • Supplier interaction account reconciliations and resolving supplier queries
  • Customer interaction account reconciliation, expediting debt collections & DSO analysis
  • Banking compliance and account management
  • Bank facility management loans, overdrafts, factoring, etc
  • Daily cash management including transfers, posting of payments, petty cash, bank reconciliations, etc
  • Preparation and management of weekly cash flows
  • Recording & reconciliation of Intercompany Invoices.
  • Assist in Audits
  • Adhoc duties as required by AMEC Financial Controller.
**Qualifications

  • Recognized Professional Accounting qualification and qualified by experience
  • Good computer skills and understanding of MS Office, especially excel

Experience, Competence, Skills & Knowledge

  • Prior experience in treasury and cash management
  • 10 years of relevant finance & accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and entries.
  • Prior experience in a multinational company

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate clearly.
