Atender a las solicitudes de preparativos o servicios especiales por parte de los huéspedes (p. ej. transporte, reservaciones, servicio de tintorería) haciendo arreglos o identificando a los proveedores adecuados.

Atender a las solicitudes especiales por parte de los huéspedes con necesidades excepcionales y hacer un seguimiento para asegurar su satisfacción.

Reunir, resumir y brindar información a los huéspedes acerca del hotel y de las comodidades del área vecina, tales como eventos y actividades especiales.

Atender, registrar y procesar todas las llamadas, los mensajes, las solicitudes, las preguntas o las inquietudes de los huéspedes. Contactar a la persona o al departamento apropiados (p. ej. Botones, Departamento de Limpieza), según sea necesario, para resolver las llamadas, las solicitudes o los problemas de los huéspedes.

Revisar el registro de turnos de los empleados y los libros de memos diarios y documentar la información pertinente en los registros.

Asegurarse de que las solicitudes que hayan quedado pendientes del día anterior reciban prioridad y sean resueltas. Controlar el inventario y hacer pedidos de artículos de oficina en general. Notificar a Prevención de Pérdidas o a Seguridad sobre cualquier denuncia de robo presentada por un huésped.

Asistir a la gerencia en la contratación, capacitación, organización, evaluación, asesoramiento, disciplina, motivación y entrenamiento de los empleados; servir como ejemplo y primer punto de contacto del proceso de "Garantía de tratamiento justo y política de puertas abiertas".

Informar al gerente los accidentes, las lesiones y las condiciones laborales inseguras; realizar capacitaciones y obtener certificaciones de seguridad.

Cumplir con todas las políticas y los procedimientos de la compañía, asegurarse de que el uniforme y la apariencia personal sean pulcros y profesionales, mantener la confidencialidad de la información patentada y proteger los bienes de la compañía.

Recibir y reconocer a todos los huéspedes de acuerdo con los estándares de la compañía; anticiparse a sus necesidades de servicio y atenderlas; agradecerles con aprecio genuino; asistir a las personas con discapacidades.
