StrategicProject Management and Planning

· Manage tosupport the Strategic Planning & Performance Management Department'sefforts as well as the sectors in developing the projects' selection criteriain order to optimize benefits to the organization and ensure prioritization inline with criticality for achieving the strategic objectives of Company .

· Periodicallymanage reports on the progress of the projects' portfolio, and ensure effectivecontrols are implemented to mitigate project risks and address strategicpriorities.

· Lead thepreparation and conduction of presentations and executive summaries on keytasks and projects and present them to top management in line with definedtimelines and requirements.

· Provideadvice to Executive Management on mapping Company 's strategy to projects.

· Lead on providing Company strategic guidance to Company Project Managers inmanaging, executing and effectively delivering their projects and associatedresources.

· Manage to developand promote a project management culture in Company , and support inelevating the maturity of project management practices in the organization.

· Ensure thatcontinuous support is provided to Strategic Management and Planning teams tooversee and manage specific tasks related to strategic initiatives anddevelopment.

· Manage andlead the development and conduction of feasibility studies and/or business casesfor special and strategic projects assigned by top management

Lead on theimplementation of special projects assigned by the Abu Dhabi Executive Office,Chairman or Undersecretary

's strategic projectmanagement framework, processand tools in line with leading practices, in order to enable stakeholders inmanaging and delivering strategic projects assigned by topmanagement, while ensuring alignment with defined objectives and expectedstandards.

· Ensure effective cascading of the functional strategy intosection business plans to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integrationwith other interfacing sectional strategies.

People Management

· Manage the effective achievement of assigned objectivesthrough the leadership of the Section by setting of individual objectives,managing performance, developing and motivating staff to maximizeperformance.

· Lead the talent development initiatives for the assignedsection, collaborating with technical/discipline experts and thereby ensure theavailability of talent to fit business requirements.

· Act as a role model and drive adherence to organizationalvalues and ethics by employees of the assigned section to foster a value drivenculture within the organization.

Budgeting and Financial Planning

· Manage the preparation and recommend the section budget andmonitor financial performance versus the budget while ensuring all sectionalactivities are conducted in line with the approved guidelines.

· Manage and ensure effective implementation of functionalpolicies, procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned sectionactivity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilledwhile delivering a quality, cost-effective service.

Leadthe identification of opportunities for continuous improvement andsustainability of systems, processes and practices considering globalstandards, productivity improvement and cost reduction

Key Skills

· Fullprofessional English proficiency both in speaking and writing

· Arabicbilingual desirable but not mandatory

· Skilled inMS Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)

· Strategicdecision making: ability to make timely decisions, and explain decisions toensure commitment and execution

· The abilityto proactively build and strengthen positive and organizational relationships

· The abilityto analyze problems, respond quickly, identify alternative solutions,anticipate consequences, and provide recommendations

· Effectiveorganizing and planning skills

· Self-motivatedwith a proven ability to complete work in a timely manner

· Expertknowledge on rebates schemes, preferably accustomed with UAE best practices

Extensive experience with program managementrelated to finance and policy
