The Sales Unit Head leads and manages the smooth implementation of the sales and commercial strategythrough developing distribution channels and building key accounts within the local and international markets

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Under the guidance of the Sales Manager, helps develop the unit's medium and long terms commercial andsales goals, methods, policies and procedures to create a road map for the department.
  • Reviews the unit's progress, sales targets and business to business (B2B) analytical reports against themarket trends and provides advice and recommendations for further actions to the Sales Manager.
  • Responsible for developing, managing and achieving the commercial aspects of B2B trade and ensuringmeeting sales targets, while being compliant with government departments processes.
  • Creates distribution channels as set out in B2B sales strategy by engaging and contracting selected hotels,Destination Management Companies (DCMs) and trade partners.
  • Manage the contracting of B2B trade partners and helps to direct and/or support the Sales Officers acrossthe team.
  • Assists in managing all incoming commercial leads and looks to develop into museum contracts and sell toall necessary partners.
  • Regularly researches key markets to understand current trends and activities that could impact or enhancethe achievement of targets that lead to effective commercial business decisions.
  • Manages and develops the budget for assigned accounts, along with the administrative, commercial, legaland financial actions required for the unit throughout the year.
  • Reviews commercial proposals and prepares market feasibility reports providing detailed targets, marketfocus, funding parameters and resource allocation; and follows up on executing.

External sales teams Requirements EXPERIENCE:

  • 8+ years of post graduateexperience in sales withintourism and travel industries/ Experience as an Sales UnitHead/Manager in a museum
  • Fluency in English and Arabic OR French

QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing,Business Studies or Equivalent/ Master's Degree in Marketing,Business Studies or Equivalent#J-18808-Ljbffr
