The overall objective of the job:
Direct supervision of the implementation of all activities related to managing partnerships in the Executive Office, starting from searching for potential partnership opportunities to concluding partnerships, including building effective partnership relationships with various local and regional institutions and international organizations related to files related to money laundering crimes, combating terrorism financing and proliferation financing.
Main Responsibilities:
- Participate in the preparation of a proposal for the strategic and operational plan for the department, develop operational indicators for work, and work to achieve them.
- Monitoring administrative processes such as planning, budget preparation, reports, and service delivery, oversight, evaluation, and improvement.
- Leading, directing, reviewing and approving policies, procedures, methods of work, performance indicators, and quality of the department's operations, and developing the necessary proposals to improve work and submitting them to senior management for approval and action according to them.
- To supervise the implementation of everything that would increase the efficiency of achievement, including the development of work methods and methods, the development and training of employees, motivate them, and spread team spirit among them.
- Periodic followup of the performance indicators of the department, reviewing achievement rates, evaluating the performance of the department's employees, and participating in preparing the annual report for the department and submitting it to senior management.
- Providing the necessary support to the line manager, and performing any other tasks assigned to him.
Specialised Tasks:
- Followup work related to preparing and developing strategies for managing local and international partnerships, and identifying areas that provide important strategic opportunities to enhance them through effective partnerships with various stakeholders.
- Reviewing and approving plans for organizing periodic meetings and events with partners.
- Follow up the work related to preparing, developing, reviewing and approving the guiding guides and methodologies for managing local and international partnerships in the various fields of work related to the work of the office.
- Adopting criteria for evaluating and selecting appropriate international partners in all fields, in coordination with the concerned authorities in the Executive Office.
- General supervision of studying and analysing all potential local and international opportunities and partnerships with all stakeholders from governmental and private institutions, international organizations, research centres, international universities and others.
- Manage and maintain comprehensive databases of local partners, regional and international organizations, international think tanks and research, international universities, etc., and contact information with them.
- Reviewing the partners matrix and ensuring that it is updated periodically and continuously, including reviewing and approving the classifications of partners as specified.
- Supervision and followup of all requests received from the organizational units for partnerships with local institutions, bodies, institutions, organizations and international canters, followup their study and evaluation in accordance with the approved procedures and adopt recommendations for the approval of these partnerships.
- General supervision and followup coordination and implementation of all activities related to concluding new international partnerships in the office from the beginning until the signing of these partnerships.
- Supervise and follow up on the implementation of communication plans, communicate with all local and international agencies, and follow up on their implementation.
- General supervision and followup of the implementation of partnership agreements and clauses as specified, and followup of partnership work teams and concerned authorities in implementing roles and responsibilities according to joint work plans to implement joint initiatives and projects.
- Follow up on all internal and external correspondence related to partnerships and ensure that they are answered in accordance with the established standards and provide their requirements within the specified time.
- Followup measuring and evaluating the level of general commitment to activating the terms of commitment to international partnerships, including the established partnership performance indicators, the return from partnerships and the benefits achieved, and reviewing periodic reports and submitting them to decisionmakers in the office.
- Ensure commitment to follow up on all observations and complaints received from partners and work to resolve them.
- Representing the office in conferences, events, workshops and working papers carried out by partners and international organizations
