The Dishwasher will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen by washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.


Responsibilities:

  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, and other kitchen utensils by hand or using dishwashing equipment.
  • Sort, stack, and store cleaned dishes and utensils in designated storage areas.
  • Ensure that all dishes and utensils are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area, including washing sinks, counters, and floors.
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling and chopping vegetables, as needed.
  • Empty and clean trash receptacles and dispose of waste according to proper procedures.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries of food and supplies.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is advantage.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Physical stamina and endurance to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
