Job Purpose:


To work closely both with the business leaders and group HR centres of excellence in the UK to help drive our HR strategy, support our HR processes, policy development and implementation, and develop approaches that achieve business and people objectives.


You will be developing and implementing specific people initiatives, processes and policies working closely with Group Communications and Engagement and by managing the HR team.


Description of the Accountability

  • In conjunction with Global HR develop the annual HR People Plan to support the business plan and future business growth.
  • Work closely with HRIS Team in implementation of new HR modules, redesign the process flow, communication to Managers, Training the managers.
  • Focusing on employee engagement surveys and related communication and complete the actions taken.
  • Support in the development/approval and communication of HR policies, procedures, guides etc to managers and employees.
  • Coordinate the recruitment process including liaison with external recruitment agency / placing recruitment advert, psychometric testing, accompanying managers at interview, assist with selection decisions and making recommendations and advise on remuneration package etc.
  • Support and collaborate with the three centers of excellence (Learning & Development, Communications & Engagement and HR Services & Rewards) to ensure the successful implementation of their programs
  • Proactively engage with Line Managers, providing expert HR advice and support to all levels within the business and actively influence decision making.
  • Monitor the performance management process and liaise with senior management on performance review progress. Review completed performance reviews and monitor/action training needs.
  • Guide and coach the leaders in the annual salary review process and ensure that reviews are completed in line with Group Reward Guidelines.
  • Coordinate all employee benefits; develop and maintain professional relationships with benefit suppliers to ensure service is delivered in a proficient and cost effective manner to the Company.
  • To promote, support and deliver the ongoing regular HR activities i.e. workforce planning, salary reviews, performance excellence etc., working with the wider HR team to ensure compliance with the group HR operating framework
  • Manage and develop the HR team to deliver day to day operational and advisory support to all stakeholders efficiently.

Job Context
The position acts as trusted advisor to the Senior Management teams of Lucy Electric (LE) in the Dubai. Provide strategic and operational input and HR data/management information on people related matters to in line with business strategy. Provide advice, coaching and solutions to stakeholders on HR related issues.

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • University degree plus Masters in Human Resources or CIPD Level
  • Excellent English communication skills,
  • Strong working knowledge of UAE local labor law.

Minimum Experience: 8 to 15 years

Skills & Expertise:


Highly experienced HR Partner with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships, at all levels, and the ability to deliver commercial and robust HR solutions.


  • Experience of partnering with senior and middle management in a medium sized, multinational organisation, with some experience of working with executive level leaders
  • Experience of working within organisations having had responsibility for multiple locations.
  • Proven ability to deliver strategic HR Plans and ability to identify areas where HR can contribute to improved business performance.
  • Generalist HR experience including policy writing, solid exposure to Employee Relations, and excellent employment law knowledge.
  • Possess strong change management, negotiation and influencing skills, to achieve positive outcomes with some experience of managing a cultural shift or transformational change and design and delivery of organisational structural change.
  • Ability to use HR system (Oracle), data, metrics, and evidence to inform and drive decision making and change across your business areas.
