Financial Record-Keeping:

Accounts Receivable/Payable Management:
The accountant will handle accounts receivable and accounts payable for the foodstuff business.

They will be responsible for tracking customer payments and ensuring timely collection, as well as managing supplier payments to maintain good vendor relationships.


Inventory Management:
Dealing in foodstuff requires careful inventory management. The accountant will monitor the stock levels, track inventory movement, and update the system accordingly in Tally. This will help in maintaining the right balance of stock and avoid any shortages or overstocking.

Bank Reconciliation:
The accountant will reconcile bank statements with the Tally records to ensure accuracy in the financial statements. Any discrepancies or errors will be identified and rectified promptly.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare financial reports on a regular basis, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

These reports will provide valuable insights into the business's financial performance.

Tax Compliance:
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns accurately. This may include income tax, sales tax, and other applicable taxes related to the foodstuff business.

Financial Analysis:
Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to management. This may involve identifying cost-saving opportunities, revenue optimization strategies, and potential areas of financial risk.

Auditing:
Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations related to financial transactions and Tally entries.

Required Work Experience and Skills:

Accounting Experience:
Prior experience as an accountant, preferably in the foodstuff industry or a similar retail environment, will be beneficial. Experience in handling financial transactions, ledger entries, and financial reporting is essential.

Knowledge of Foodstuff Business:
Familiarity with the foodstuff industry's accounting practices, inventory management, and specific challenges will be advantageous.

Attention to Detail:

As the role involves dealing with financial data, meticulous attention to detail is crucial to ensure accuracy in records and reports.


Organizational Skills:
The accountant should be well-organized and able to manage multiple tasks effectively to meet deadlines.

Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical skills will help in interpreting financial data and generating valuable insights for the business.

Communication Skills:
Good communication skills are essential to collaborate with team members and communicate financial information effectively.

Salary:
AED3, AED4,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
