About the Role

Xad Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, timely, and accurate payment of accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Transactions: Prepare and maintain accounts receivable transactions, ensuring all information is updated in our accounting software.
  2. Revenue Tracking: Create trackers and ensure accurate invoicing, monitoring revenue site-wise and ensuring the invoicing team bills un-invoiced revenue.
  3. Invoice Management: Maintain proper invoice records against purchase orders and manage POs, ensuring complete records are kept.
  4. Payment Follow-up: Follow up on payments, allocate them correctly, and monitor customer accounts.
  5. Cash Flow Management: Actively manage cash flow by predicting and accelerating cash inflows.
  6. Accounting Policies: Adhere to accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls established by management.
  7. Customer Communication: Handle customer inquiries, resolve disputes, and develop recovery strategies.
  8. Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly metrics, review AR aging, and provide financial data.
  9. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, analyze accounts, and prepare financial statements.
  10. Accounting Controls: Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures and preparing and submitting reports to management.
  11. Year-End Closing: Record information such as accruals, deferrals, and interdepartmental entries into the company's accounting ledger, ensuring entries and balances are correct.
  12. Reconciliation: Reconcile the ledger balance with the statement of account of clients.
  13. Automation Tools: Evaluate and implement AR automation tools and software.
  14. Team Support: Assist colleagues and perform any other relevant tasks assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Education: ACCA, Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Master's in Commerce.
  2. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a similar financial role.
  3. Skills:
    1. SAP Accounting Software: Proficiency in SAP Accounting software.
    2. Accounting Principles: Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
    3. Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
    4. Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    5. Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. ERP Systems: Experience with ERP systems.
  2. Accounting Regulations: Knowledge of relevant accounting regulations and standards.
  3. Industry Experience: Relevant experience in Telecom or contracting industry of UAE.
