Job Title:Trade LaneManager

Immediate Supervisor:ManagingDirector

JobPurpose:

Responsible forgenerating sales revenue through aggressive sales and customercare. To professionally provide transportation and logisticsolutions and guide the customers with regards to products andservices to match their requirements. In addition constantly followthe market trends through regular market and competitor analysis inorder to provide the management with the latest market trends andrequirements.

Responsibilities

  • Expansion and further development of the core business ofthe company the focus to be on the expansion of the responsibleTrade Lanes and on customers in the France & Maghreb tradelane.
  • To work on all the Air/Ocean productsand logistics solutions; this includes both theacquisition/coordination of new business and the expansion ofexisting business within the framework of the specified corporatestrategy
  • Development of a trustbased effectiveand efficient cooperation with the Trade Lane partners
  • Knowledge transfer for the assigned trade lane;communication of strengths weaknesses USPs and products to theorganization
  • Independently preparingorganizing implementing and following up on national andinternational sales trips and marketing campaigns
  • Independent preparation organization and followup ofregular reviews with the Trade Lane partners with the aim ofcontinuous growth of the Trade Lanes
  • Marketanalyses and competitive monitoring with the aim of derivingprofitable and sustainable measures (positive Gross Margineffect)
  • Early identification of market andproduct trends; development and implementation of measuresprimarily decided by customers in Germany (in cooperation withproduct management)
  • Lead the execution of RFQsi.e. create the strategy roadmap and executive steps required towin customers and proactively support product tender operations andsupply chain management
  • Initiating and leadingthe implementation of an internal and external ContinuousImprovement Process in the area of responsibility
  • Correct accurate and efficient application of thecomputer systems used (CRM TSE)
  • Additionaltasks assigned by Line Manager

Skills & qualification required

  • Bachelors degree in related field or combination ofeducation and experience.
  • Minimum 5 yearsworking experience in Freight Forwarding/ Logisticsindustry
  • Strong air and ocean productknowledge working experience in air or ocean operations
  • Fluent in French & English languageboth verbal and in writing Arabic will be anadvantage.
