KeyResponsibilities:

  • Overseedaily operations of the school s facilities including classroomsadministrative offices gymnasiums and outdoorareas.
  • Ensureall facilities are clean organized and maintained to highstandards.
  • Developand implement a preventative maintenance schedule for allfacilities andequipment.
  • Coordinateand supervise maintenance and repair work; manage relationshipswith contractors and serviceproviders.
  • Addressurgent repair issues promptly to minimizedisruptions.
  • Ensureadherence to health safety and environmental regulations andguidelines.
  • Conductregular safety inspections and risk assessments; implementnecessary correctiveactions.
  • Developand update emergency procedures and safety protocols; conductdrills and training for staff andstudents.
  • Coordinatethe setup and arrangement of facilities for school eventsassemblies meetings and otheractivities.
  • Managelogistics including furniture arrangements and equipmentsetup.
  • Liaisewith event organizers to meet facilityrequirements.
  • Overseeinventory of supplies equipment and materials; ensure properstorage andutilization.
  • Monitorstock levels place orders and manage budgets related to facilityoperations.
  • Supervisefacility staff including janitorial and maintenancepersonnel.
  • Collaboratewith school administration and departments to address facilityneeds and supportoperations.
  • Developand maintain emergency response plans including evacuationprocedures and first aidreadiness.
  • Coordinateresponses to facilityrelated emergencies such as accidents orsevere weatherevents.
  • Assistin preparing and managing the facility budget; track expendituresand provide financialreports.
  • Identifycostsaving opportunities and recommend improvements to enhanceefficiency.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Experience:Minimum of 3 years experience in facility management withexperience in a school setting being amust.
  • Education:Relevant qualifications in facility management building maintenanceor a related field; certifications in health and safety are aplus.
