Production Events Manager

- Ensure the availability of requiredresources to carry out all the tasks related to the ProductionDepartment
- Perform periodic performanceappraisals for Department employees, addressing and resolving anyareas of concern, as well as clearly outlining long-term careerobjectives
- Identify and recruit the requiredexternal experts, advisors, consultants, etc… needed tosupport events production
- Develop, plan, andmanage the Production Department Operations Plan, and distribute itto all necessary personnel, ensuring objectives are clearlyunderstood and deadlines are met
- Approve alltechnical riders, ensuring all requirements are met and quotes arewithin the allocated budgets in coordination with the FinanceDepartment -Direct and oversee the identification of venues,suppliers, and advertising outlets/platforms in coordination withthe Marketing Department
- Direct and oversee theidentification of contingency/mitigating measures to be adopted forany potential risks (Security, HSE,etc…)
- Prepare and allocate budgetfor programs and events with the Financeteam.
- Review and confirm invoices received andensure Department submission to the Finance Department for timelypayment
- Ensuring cash flow is maintainedaccurately for related Production expenses in coordination with theFinance Department
- Review and approve new venueoptions and arrange site visits to assess the feasibility andviability of using alternative locations
- Directand oversee the rehearsals, logistics, accommodation, and securityof the key external stakeholders (artists, VIP audiences, programsupporters, etc…)
- Manage and directFront of House (FOH) smooth operation during Events, ensuring theevent running order is adhered to and always followed.
Requirements
Tobe considered for this role, you need to meet the followingcriteria:
- A minimum of 5-8years’ experience in event and/or production managementwithin a public/private sector entity, preferably within the artsand culture sector.
- Good understanding of thepolicies of the authorities.
- Excellentpresentation skills Communication and Relationship Management withsuppliers, vendors, and other thirdparties.
