Key Responsibilities:
Identify and secure new business opportunities in the events industry, including corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, and special events.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, event organizers, and potential clients.
Develop tailored proposals and presentations to meet clients' needs and win new contracts.
Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations) to develop event concepts and solutions that align with clients' objectives.
Conduct market research to stay updated on trends, competitors, and potential growth areas in the events industry.
Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, ensuring terms align with business goals.
Meet and exceed revenue targets by successfully closing new business deals.
Represent the company at industry events, networking meetings, and conferences.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the events industry.
Strong understanding of the events industry, including event planning, production, and marketing.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and nurture long-term relationships with clients.
Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Proficiency in CRM software, event management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with high-profile clients or managing large-scale events.
A network of contacts within the events and hospitality sectors.
MBA or a relevant advanced degree.
