Objectives:

Takeoverall responsibility for a limited number of small to mediumsized projects and provides support to PMO team. Assist the PMO manager in fulfilling tasks in supportof the PMO mandate. Shadowing and training with PMO team to enhanceand build project management knowledge base. Performing qualitycontrol checks with project managers and administration of PPMtool. Assisting PMO Director and Manager in fulfilling anynecessary tasksrequired.

DirectProjectManagement

Manage anddeliver projects according to the agreed scope anddeliverables

Overseemanagement of activities of the project teams to ensuredeliverables are being completed to definedexpectations

Maintainfrequent and detailed communication with all members of the team toensure clarity at alltimes

Proactivelymanage foreseen project risks and mitigate issues as they ariseimplementing correctiveactions

Support theproject managers by taking on supervised support tasks on largerprojects as and whennecessary

Manage projectadministration tasks. Create and maintain project plan via PPMtool

Undertake anyother project management duties as and when required

StrategyContribution

Works with PMOto ensure alignment of project reporting with strategicpriorities

Guidance

Works with PMOto provide subject matter expertise advice and share knowledge withthe team members to support their overalldevelopment.

Follow PMODepartment policies procedures and controls covering all areas ofassigned job responsibilities so that all relevantprocedural/legislative requirements fulfilled while delivering aquality costeffectiveservice.

Trainingand ContinuousImprovement

Attendingtraining sessions to build PM knowledge andexperience

Reporting

Ensure that allreports are prepared timely and accurately and meet requirementspolicies and qualitystandards


DemandManagement

Providing PMOwith required information for executing Demand ManagementProcess

Updating projectrelated templates for PMO review and approval as part of projectintakeprocess

ResourceManagement

Works with PMOfor establishing consolidated ResourceRequirements Plan across projects in PPMtool.

Support PMOgovernance to establish effective stakeholderalignment.

Risk& IssueManagement

Effectivelytrack project risks issues and commitments and escalate as and whenrequired

Projectreportingmanagement:

Provide weeklyreporting on project status to PMO highlighting key updatesescalations Risk andIssues

QualityManagement

Supports PMO inconducting project quality review for new projects and ongoingprojects

Undertakecompliance checks on projects adherence to PMO standards/methodologies.

DocumentManagement

Ensuredocumentation is created and updated as per the agreed list ofprojectdeliverables

Ensure documentsare stored in the document repository asrequired

EstablishMonitoring of Documents Management and provides regular update toManager Director &CTSO

Maintain aneffective document management and controlprocess.

DependencyManagement

Works withproject team to identify and review dependencies escalate to theManager/Director whererequired

BenefitRealization

Provides supportin producing reports and dashboards to management for benefitsrealizationtracking.

DepartmentalResponsibility

This positionmay be assigned to perform any additional tasks or related dutiesas required by the Line manager and in line with businessrequirements



Requirements

Bachelor sdegree or equivalent in one of the following Business OperationsManagement Finance orequivalent.

Proven workingexperience in projectmanagement

Competence in ITparticularly in standard project management tools such as MSproject PowerPoint andExcel

Ability to workunder pressure and complete project within a set duration andbudget


Good knowledgeof project management methodologies including Agilepreferable

Ability to learnquickly in a dynamic fastpacedenvironment

Fluent inEnglish communicating andwriting

Excellentcommunication skills confident in dealing withstakeholders

Proactiveselfdriveapproach

High attentiontodetail

Superioranalytical thinking and problem solvingabilities
