JobObjective:
Take overallresponsibility for a limited number of small to medium sizedprojects and provide support to PMO team. Assist the PMO manager infulfilling tasks in support of the PMO mandate. Shadowing andtraining with PMO team to enhance and build project managementknowledge base. Performing quality control checks with projectmanagers and administration of PPM tool. Assisting PMO Director andManager in fulfilling any necessary tasksrequired.
KeyAccountabilities:
DirectProjectManagement
- Manage anddeliver projects according to the agreed scope anddeliverables.
- Oversee management of activitiesof the project teams to ensure deliverables are being completed todefined expectations.
- Maintain frequent anddetailed communication with all members of the team to ensureclarity at all times.
- Proactively manageforeseen project risks and mitigate issues as they ariseimplementing corrective actions
- Support theproject managers by taking on supervised support tasks on largerprojects as and when necessary.
- Manage projectadministration tasks. Create and maintain project plan via PPMtool.
- Undertake any other project managementduties as and whenrequired.
StrategyContribution
- Works withPMO to ensure alignment of project reporting with the strategicpriorities Guidance
- Works with PMO to providesubject matter expertise advice and share knowledge with the teammembers to support their overalldevelopment.

Follow PMO Departmentpolicies procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned jobresponsibilities so that all relevant procedural/legislativerequirements fulfilled while delivering a quality costeffectiveservice.
Training and ContinuousImprovement
- Continuouslyidentify improvement related to the job specificresponsibilities
- Attending training sessions tobuild PM knowledge andexperience
Reporting
Ensurethat all reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet therequirements policies and qualitystandards.
Demand Management
- Providing PMO withrequired information for executing Demand Management Process
- Updating project related templates for PMOreview and approval as part of project intake process
Resource Management
Works with PMO for establishingconsolidated Resource Requirements Plan across projects in PPMtool.
Support PMO governance to establisheffective stakeholder alignment.
Risk & Issue Management
Effectively track project risksissues and commitments and escalate as and when required
Project reporting management:
Provide weekly reporting onproject status to PMO highlighting key updates escalations Risk andIssues
Quality Management
Supports PMO in conductingproject quality review for new projects and ongoing projects
Undertake compliance checks on projectsadherence to PMO standards/ methodologies.
Document Management
- Ensure documentationis created and updated as per the agreed list of projectdeliverables
- Ensure documents are stored inthe document repository as required
- EstablishMonitoring of Documents Management and provides regular update toManager Director & CTSO
- Maintain aneffective document management and control process.
DependencyManagement
Works with projectteam to identify and review dependencies escalate to theManager/Director where required Benefit Realization
Provides support in producing reports anddashboards to management for benefits realization tracking.Departmental Responsibility
This position may beassigned to perform any additional tasks or related duties asrequired by the Line manager and in line with businessrequirements
Qualifications andExperience
- Bachelorsdegree or equivalent in one of the following Business OperationsManagement Finance or equivalent.
- Provenworking experience in projectmanagement
- Competence in IT particularly instandard project management tools such as MS project PowerPoint andExcel
- Ability to work under pressure andcomplete project within a set duration andbudget
- Good knowledge of project managementmethodologies including Agilepreferable
- Ability to learn quickly in adynamic fastpaced environment
- Fluent in Englishcommunicating and writing
- Excellentcommunication skills confident in dealing withstakeholders
- Proactive selfdriveapproach
- High attention to detail Superioranalytical thinking and problem solvingabilities
- Willingness to work with experiencedresources to enhance PMOknowledge
