We are looking for a SeniorDevSecOps to work with the European Commission out ofBrussels.

DescriptionOfTasks:

  • Definingthe scope of testing within the context of eachrelease/delivery.
  • Theservice provider will have to Implement build plans for JEE andAngular projects in a continuous integration tool (Bamboo, Jenkins,Gitlab).
  • Implementdeployment automation and infrastructure monitoring/alertingsystem.
  • Supportand advise development teams at EC willing to adopt DevOpspractices.
  • Documentand provide training on the procedures inplace.
  • Enhanceautomationlevel.
  • Preparefuture container-based and cloud-basedpipelines.
  • Definingand implementing the overall test approach, determining whethertest phases will be automated, and selecting and implementingappropriate testtools.
  • Producingthe overall test delivery plan defining the business and IT testdeliverable milestones, test tasks, andactivities.
  • Definingroles and responsibilities for the test team including specificresponsibility for the production of all testdeliverables.
  • Deployingand managing resources fortesting.
  • Applyingthe appropriate test measurements and metrics in the product andthe TestingTeam
  • Planning,deploying, and managing the testing effort for any givenengagement.
  • Monitoringand reporting the status and progress of each test phase todifferent stakeholders and to agreedstandards.
  • Owningand resolving issues around the technical solution delivered intothe business testenvironment.
  • Ensuringeffective issue escalation to senior management where there is asignificant threat todelivery.
  • Workingwithin the overall project or program governance defined by theProject / Programme Manager and contributing to formal projectreviews at appropriate points in the projectlifecycle.


Requirements
MustHave:
  • In-depthknowledge of application architecture, in particular, cloud-basedand related concepts
  • Experience insoftware development and Information System integrationarchitecture design and patterns, in multi-platform andmulti-architectural context
  • Goodunderstanding of relevant technologies in the development,integration, deployment, and operation of InformationSystems
  • Good understanding ofsoftware engineering challenges, in particular, interoperabilityand securityconsiderations
  • Experience inprojects undertaking integration of solutions and components in amulti-platform landscape (in-house / COTS as well as open source,on-premises / cloud)
  • Strongexperience with CI/CD pipeline andDevSecOps
  • Strong experience withtools such as Apache Kafka, API Gateway (any), Kubernetes, andDocker
  • Experience with ELK stack,Splunk
  • Experience with API Gateway(WSO2 API Manager andAnalytics)
  • Experience withstandards/APIs: REST, SOAP, JSON, Swagger, XSD,JAX-WS
  • Experience with event-drivenprogramming
  • Experience with Java EE8 technologies (JEE platform, Java API, JSF,JMS)
  • Experience with Confluence,JIRA, and Agile methodologies
  • Atleast a Bachelors Degree in IT
