ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support faculty through weeklyannouncements and by answering questions
  • Gatherand compile course assignment availability and coordinatesassignments in consultation with departmentleadership
  • Maintain faculty records andhierarchies in various systems
  • Coordinatehiring and onboarding of onlinefaculty
  • Maintains communication with IMs& SMEs to ensure coordination and implementation of LUOpolicies and procedures
  • Coordinates training ofonline faculty and maintains current training materials and onlinefaculty Canvas community resources
  • Coordinatecurriculum development of new courses and maintaining existingcourses and supporting faculty Subject MatterExperts
  • Assists in accreditationmatters
  • Research and compiledata.
  • Tracks enrollment in course sections,projects future needs
  • Write reports foraudiences as appropriate to the needs of theaudience.
  • Interpret administrative andoperating policies and procedures foremployees.
  • File and maintainrecords.
  • Perform administrative supporttasks.

MinimumQualifications

QUALIFICATIONSAND CREDENTIALS

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3-5years of administrative experience
  • Excellentoral and written communication skills
  • Possessstrong organizational skills
  • Able to solveproblems of both a routine or a complexnature
  • Intermediate knowledge of MicrosoftOffice and Adobe Acrobat
  • Familiarity withLearning Management Systems (i.e., Canvas)
  • Ableto work in a fast-paced work environment, with a strong ability toprioritize tasks
  • Excellent interpersonalskills
  • Excellent interviewingskills
  • Work well independently and as part of ateam
