Jobs& Responsibilities
- Teach and promote learning in a range of business management courses, utilizing modern teaching and learning methods.
- Orient students in the field of business management as necessary by program/course/service requirement
- Prepare students for all types of assessments, including examinations, projects, assignments, and reports in the context of business management.
- Evaluate the progress of each business management student and notify those in need of counselling services and/or tutorial assistance.
- Develop business management course curriculum, course handouts, lectures, and presentations.
- Engage in designated professional development activities focused on business management within the Centre.
- Facilitate student learning in business management, provide effective instruction, and perform evaluations using each course's standard course outline as a guide.
- Participate in program-level learning assessment. Participation includes helping articulate learning outcomes, choosing and administering measures, evaluating student performance, and suggesting changes to improve student learning.
- Assign grades and maintain course/student records in accordance with various Awarding Bodies, and regulations and submit grades and records by established deadlines.
- To actively participate in departmental meetings and activities, in support of the general development of students and the Centre, Instructional assignments, using appropriate teaching methods such as a lecture, lab, or distance format, and could include self-paced instruction.
- Development of instruments to evaluate student learning; marking such instruments; generally assessing student progress;
- Evaluate business management student portfolios/assessments and other materials for Prior Learning Assessments.
- Embrace innovation in teaching and learning methods, particularly those relevant to business management.
- Referring students to Student Admissions and relationship Managers and others within the Centre to address specific student learning or personal issues;
- Preparation of a portfolio/ assessment for use in the formative review process
- Coordinate between students, faculty, administration and management for the smooth running of the course
- Perform other academic and marketing-related duties as assigned by the Centre Manager.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
