Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Research: Conduct cutting-edge research in IT and related fields. Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at academic conferences.
- Academic Advising: Provide mentorship and academic guidance to students, including advising on research projects, career paths, and academic progress.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of the IT curriculum, ensuring it meets the latest industry standards and technological advancements.
- Institutional Service: Participate in departmental and college-wide committees, contribute to strategic planning, and engage in community outreach activities.
- Professional Development: Stay current with advancements in the field of IT, including new technologies, methodologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements: Ph.D. in Information Technology or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in teaching at the university level, with a record of scholarly research and publications. Experience in industry or applied IT projects is a plus.
- Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to engage and inspire students. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in relevant IT tools and technologies.
