Product Development Manager | Huda Beauty DubaiHere at Huda Beauty, our Mission is to create a world of beauty where everyone is celebrated, so that we can inspire you to find your magic Launched by award-winning beauty powerhouse Huda Kattan in 2013, Huda Beauty is one of the world’s fastest growing beauty brands.Product research, presentations, product testing, color matching & project management will play a big part of the day-to day duties, as well as general team support and admin.The ideal candidate will be passionate about the world of beauty and have a strong feel for textures.Product Development Manager | Huda Beauty Dubai | Apply NowEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Understand key trends and translate them into strong beauty conceptsTrack new ingredients, claims & stay up to date of the competitive environment to support new product ideasHelp fuel PD calendar by proposing innovative product concepts with a focus on complexion & skincareBuild creative mood boards to embellish product conceptsCreate strong & detailed product briefs to be sent to suppliersAnalyze new technologies and textures sent by suppliers to create formulas that compliment and strengthen existing portfolioConduct in-house, internal evaluation of submissions for texture preferences, product performance, scent, shade matching. Present results and findings to teamCommunicate texture, shade direction & changes to suppliers through daily follow up emails or calls – Re-direct submissions until desired attributes and performance is achievedBuild strong supplier relationshipsWork closely with NPD team to support management of end-to-end NPD process from inception to launch for multiple projects at once, with CPA understanding & problem-solving skills, to ensure all products are launched on timeWork cross-functionally and internationally with our different markets to drive ideas from conception to execution, partnering with product marketing to build strong presentation decks & ‘product fact sheets’Ability to story tell, create detailed briefs, and collaborate creatively with packaging & design teams to create best-in-class packaging and packaging designs with both a consumer and industry expert lensKeen eye for details and correction opportunities in artwork review process with the Design and Regulatory teamsWork closely with Regulatory Lead & Marketing team to propose and establish claims to be testedProvide all artwork information (INCI, Claim results…) and their translations for primary and secondary packaging to Design Lead for artwork briefing in time for artwork due datesWith support of Senior manager & wider team, attendance in weekly meetings with Founder for product testing, alignment & approvalApproval of lab standards with Senior Manager and dispatch standards to relevant parties.Support the shooting team on pre-approval of assetsRequirements:Self-motivated, eloquent, and dedicated to the brandExcellent organizational and communication skills, able to seek answers independentlyAttention to detail while managing multiple fast moving, quick changing projectsStrong research skillsAdaptable and flexible team player, conscious of team dynamics, open to quick changePassion for and knowledge of the beauty industry – brands, products, bloggers, and influencersSkills using Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint5 years’ experience within the beauty industry – in complexion development preferredSkincare experience would be an extra benefit, but is not a mustMakeup artistry experience (make up assistant or retail floor) would be an extra benefit, but is not a mustDon’t miss out on this exciting opportunity – apply now at dubaiofferz.com
