Join WSP, and you’ll be at the heart of a team of international experts all dedicated to growing and sharing their expertise and working on projects that transform society for all of us.job summary:This role reports to the Head of IT & Digital for the Middle East.The Strategic Business Partner is the face of IT, accountable for ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of IT Change and Business Solutions Services to the business, including ensuring they are meeting the needs of the business, are cost-efficient, deliver innovation & performance improvement, and readily enables the business to service their clients.The role is accountable for working with the wider Enterprise IT organization and partners, to ensure existing and new software solutions and services are delivered to a high standard and to work in constant partnership with the business whilst ensuring service excellence.Illustrative Structure:The organisation utilises Enterprise IT resources based in our India Complementary Resource Centre (iCRC), based in both Bangalore and Noida. The Solutions Business Partner will therefore partner with solutions development resources to ensure effective change and solution development and delivery:Your new role, what's involved?Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Leadership:Matrix leadership of solutions and change delivery resources and services across the Middle East region.Establish a team ethos, drive collaboration, promote ways of working and ensure the guiding principles are embraced and upheld.Create the necessary conditions for change and solutions delivery resources to achieve their objectives by communicating the vision and value of WSP, conducting diligent performance management and setting clear objectives for the team.Establish and ensure adherence to standard working practices and processes across the function.IT Business Engagement & Partnership:Provide strategic focus and drive excellence in business partnership and engagement at all levels across various innovative solutions, change initiatives and technical disciplines.Develop and implement a business engagement & communications plan for solutions partnering and delivery, establishing regular forums and communications activities with the business.Act as Single Point of Accountability and point of escalation and engagement for change and solution delivery.Develop and deliver (In conjunction with the Operations Business Partner) a Process Improvement Roadmap that drives improvements in solution and change delivery, including accountability, transparent Roles & Responsibilities (RACI), and agreed KPIs / OKRs and service reviews with BU Stakeholders to ensure continual productivity and targeted delivery of innovative technical solutions.Demand management and analysis of IT solutions and communicate the needs and priorities to the wider business and IT function.Assume responsibility for the contract between our business units and enterprise IT partners to track performance and financials (re-charges) and provide input into budgeting and forecasting cycles as required.IT Change & Solution Delivery:Liaise between Business Units and IT Development teams in investigating potential new solutions / innovative technologies and automation (RPA) opportunities.Drive the development and delivery teams to deliver all technical solutions or projects with appropriate governance, allocated resources (where required) and accountability.Investigate & implement innovative solutions to improve business connectivity and integration.Develop, manage & drive IT Training agenda (e.g. Lunch & Learn Sessions, Technical drop-in sessions, Product short-cuts etc), ensuring the business knows the value that IT delivers.Automation / Process Improvement:Working with the Business Units, identify automation opportunities and drive automation improvements across the business, via an RPA Roadmap.Develop plan to democratise RPA within the business, creating a Community of Practice for RPA & RPA Super-users that enable drive / promote automation.Track performance and financial savings (ROI) for automation and ensure successes are communicated and leveraged across the business.Technical Product LeadershipDrive Technical Product Leadership across the IT Landscape (eg Solution development, MS Teams, Engineering Software Improvement, Automation Solutions), ensuring team is current with innovative technologies and latest functionality.We'd love to hear from you if you have:Education:Bachelor in Technology and /or managementStrategic IT Business Partner with 15+ years of experience.Ability to write and express ideas clearly in English.Proven decision-making through impact analysis, critical thinking, and structured problem resolution.Be comfortable with ambiguity and prepared to work in an agile, flexible method.Commercial mindset based on experience of doing work for clients or P&L responsibility.Thrive on change and engender a collaborative approach. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in delivering Operational IT services compliant to information security practices. Leadership:Proven experience in change & solutions delivery management and the development of solutions development teams within a matrix organization structure across the GCC region.Ability to drive performance and focus on achieving results.Actively removes any boundaries to create an environment that promotes and encourages teamwork across the IT organization.Business Partnership:Proficient in strategic business partnering with a passion for developing relationships.Strong customer awareness and a proven track record of ensuring the stakeholder inclusivity.High level of engagement to develop effective working relationships at all levels across the businessAbility to quickly gain the confidence of the business and colleagues through excellent communication and influencing skills.Proven experience of developing formal structures for solutions & development delivery/business partnership reviews and escalations (e.g. KPI, strategic demands for new technology).Technical:Proven experience of managing software development process (SDLC) ensuring service levels meet customer needs.Technical knowledge of top RPA platforms such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Microsoft Power AutomateHigh-level knowledge of .Net development, SharePoint, RPA technologies, and web-based toolsProven knowledge of basic budgeting and accounting practicePractical knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworksWhat's in it for you?What if we can have work-life balance?
