About Wynn Al Marjan Island:

On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in early 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About The Position
Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Lead Welfare Officer to join the resort's Security team.

Responsibilities
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of security personnel assigned to the warehouse site.
  • Ensure all security officers adhere to post orders, patrol schedules, and operational protocols.
  • Conduct regular inspections of perimeter fencing, access control systems, surveillance equipment, and patrol routes.
  • Monitor and manage access control for staff, visitors, and vehicles entering and exiting the facility.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies, ensuring proper procedures are followed and documented.
  • Lead incident investigations and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Provide ongoing training and mentorship to security staff, focusing on warehouse-specific risks and procedures.
  • Maintain professional standards in appearance, conduct, and performance across the security team.
  • Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services to coordinate response efforts when needed.
  • Identify and report security vulnerabilities, recommending corrective actions.
  • Ensure all equipment (radios, CCTV, alarms) is functional and report any deficiencies.
  • Conduct daily briefings and debriefings to communicate priorities, updates, and feedback.
  • Support warehouse operations by ensuring security protocols are integrated into logistics and inventory processes.

About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Education & Certifications

  • Valid UAE Security Certification
  • Advanced First Aid / CPR Certification (Required)
  • Fire Warden Certification (Required)
  • Valid UAE Driver's License (Required)
  • Associate degree in Security Management or related field (Preferred)

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in site security operations, preferably in warehouse or logistics environments
  • Experience managing offsite or remote facility security in the UAE (Preferred)
  • Background in law enforcement, military, or industrial security (Preferred)

Skills & Knowledge

  • Bi-lingual (English / Arabic) preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities under pressure
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse safety and security protocols
  • Familiarity with access control systems, CCTV, and alarm systems
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a team across shifts
